A Major Step for Environmental Protection in France 🇫🇷 On February 20th, 2025, the French National Assembly passed a groundbreaking law aimed at protecting the population from the risks associated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals.
🧪 PFAS, the Eternal Pollutants PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are synthetic chemicals that persist in the environment and accumulate in living organisms.
Recent findings from a study by the CLCV (Consommation, Logement et Cadre de Vie) raise concerns about the safety and transparency of so-called “eco-friendly” food packaging.

Today was the PhD defence of Laura Duciel. She arrived in October 2018 to work on her research project titled “Machine learning developments for the analysis of high resolution biophysical data-sets”.
CASC4DE will attend the upcoming Italian-French International Conference on Magnetic Resonance organized by the GIDRM and GERM in Milan from 27 to 30 September 2022.
On July the 11th at 14.30 will take place a course on “Understanding Phases and Frequencies in FTICR-MS, in classical spectrometry and in 2D-FTICR-MS” by Marc-André Delsuc from IGBMC / CASC4DE.
